Workshop Overview
This interactive workshop will take place via Zoom on October 21st, 2026 from 10am – 12pm.
Effective board recruitment and selection is essential because the quality, diversity, and capability of a board directly influence an organisation’s strategic direction, governance standards, and long‑term resilience. Bringing new members onto a board is not simply about filling vacancies—it is about ensuring the right mix of skills, perspectives, and values to guide the organisation through complexity and change. Careful planning helps boards identify the competencies they genuinely need, align recruitment with organisational culture and brand, and avoid reactive or ad‑hoc appointments that can weaken governance. A thoughtful, structured approach also supports fairness and transparency, ultimately strengthening trust among stakeholders and building a board that is equipped to lead with confidence and integrity.
