Next week, hundreds of start-up focused events are due to be held across the country as part of the Start-Up Gathering 2015.

Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford, as well as the North West and North East of the country will host a range of meetings, talks, and informal gatherings, with support coming from the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and Bank of Ireland.

Eoin Costello the Startup Ireland’s chief executive and co-founder says the goal of the Start-Up Gathering is to encourage more start-ups to start scale and succeed from Ireland.

Over the week 370 events will talk place across the country and with the backing of the Government and the state agencies there are 100 different events from the enterprise support agencies also taking place.
