As part of a Joint Trade Mission between Enterprise Ireland and the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O’Connor, today begins a two-day Trade and Investment Mission to Athlone, Sligo and Limerick as part of a ‘Global Sourcing’ initiative.

The initiatives objective is to maximise sales opportunities for Irish SMEs with multinational companies based in Ireland.

Since the Global Sourcing initiative began in 2012, 21 new contracts have been secured by Irish companies valued at €10.5m.

This year, IDA will hold over 20 one-to-one meetings with Irish companies to learn how their products or services may add value to an IDA sponsored multinational based in Ireland.
