The Startup Gathering kicks off this week with almost 400 events across five cities as part of the Startup Gathering 2015.

The initiative will be one of the biggest national start-up weeks in the world and aims to promote entrepreneurship and help develop world class regional startup hubs.

It is also looking to highlight Ireland startup sector to global entrepreneurs, innovators and research and development teams.

The Gathering gets underway today in the Google Foundry with the Dublin Startup Island 2020 Fourm, which will include guest speakers from Startup commons Global, Intel’s Internet of Things, Dell and Startup Gathering sponsor Bank of Ireland.

More events will take place throughout the week at Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Galway and Waterford giving participants the opportunity to connect to the supports and services they need and also networking opportunities and collaborate with other startups and established corporates.
